"To the ghost town of India"

A trip to Rameshwaram via Dhanushkodi that lasts for two nights and one day!! I took a seat by the window and took in the sights outside at night. As the train departed a short distance after Nagercoil, we saw some wind gusts outside. The wind farm in Araivalmozhi is one of the largest wind-generating areas in India. Early in the morning, the Train reaches Madurai station. It is a great sight to see the sun rising amidst the lush rice fields-When the train reached Madurai, it was ready to catch up and catch the next train. The train departed to Rameshwaram in 15 minutes. Earlier, the one-second class ticket was taken (Madurai - Rameswaram Passenger Train Rs 30/
Early morning in the inner villages of Tamil Nadu passenger train journey was spectacular. After the Ramanathapuram station, there was drizzling rain.

PAMBAN Bridge
 ----------------------

The Pamban Bridge is a railway bridge that connects Rameshwaram and Ramanathapuram. It is located in the Palk Strait between India and Sri Lanka.  The bridge is between the Mandapam railway station and the Pamban railway station. It is the first sea bridge in India. The length of the bridge is about two kilometers.  At least once in your life, a train ride through the PAMBAN bridge is an unforgettable experience.

The train reached Rameswaram at around 10 am.  Rameshwaram town is 2 km from there.  We got into an auto and reached Rameshwaram town.  Rameshwaram Temple is one of the main attractions of Rameshwaram and the home of our former President Kalam Sir.

From Rameshwaram to Dhanushkodi, there are auto-rickshaws and buses. The auto-charge is Rs 700 / - and the auto takes us to the parking lot wherever we need.
on both sides of the road, flattened to infinity only the Blue sea.there are no buildings on the side of the road that overlooks the sea. with the exception of the pilgrimage vans and the occasional state-run buses, the road was mostly a success.it was a journey that reminded Moses/Moosa's journey through the sea with a stick to save his believers.

 Dhanushkodi
 ----------------------

If you take a map of India, you will find a small area in Tamil Nadu, which is situated in the middle of the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean.

Dhanushkodi was once a ghost town but today it was a ghost town.  Some 1800 people are believed to have died that day. The village was full of all kinds of amenities, and at midnight on December 22, 1964, a tornado and storm surge from the Sri Lankan coast swallowed Dhanush Kodi.  Some 1800 people are believed to have died that day. We see the mosque, the railway deck, the station, the post office and the reservoir as the silent witness of a disaster.
Once upon a time, it was easy to travel from India to Sri Lanka. This train, known as the Boatmail Express, travels from Chennai to Pamban via Dhanushkodi and travels in a small boat or boat from Dhanushkodi to Talaimannar in Sri Lanka and travel by train from Talaimannar to Colombo or Jaffna.
With 110 passengers that night The passenger train, which departed from Pamphon to Dhanushkodi, took off with 6 boats and took off to Sri Lanka.
According to Hindu mythology, the Rama Sethu Bridge was built by Raman and his Vanara Sena to rescue Sita who was taken by Ravana. There are only a few box shops and a few hotels that sell ruins of ruined buildings and curios from sea bass.

Achirmalmunai / Arasimune

-----------------

Arichalmunebeach is the nearest Indian subcontinent to Sri Lanka. From here it is only 20 km to Talaimannar, Sri Lanka. The main attraction of the temple is the three-storied Ashoka Stupa. We relaxed for a while, watching the very calm sea. Due to the hustle and bustle of tourists, we headed back to Rameshwaram.

 Rameshwaram
----------------------
The first person that comes to our mind when we hear about Rameshwaram is former President Dr.  Kalam is a rare person who sold his newspaper on the shores of Rameshwaram and later became a scientist and an Indian missile to the highest presidency of India.
I went to see Kalam Sar's house. His house is just a walk away from the bus stand.
You'll be greeted by a large board called "HOUSE OF KALAM."We go up the stairs and into the gallery. In his lifetime, he won awards such as Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan and Bharat Ratna. His contributions to ISRO, the prototypes of Prithi and fire missiles he developed at the DRDO, the details of the Pokhran nuclear test, the clothes he used, his writings, all of his most famous verses can be found here. Photography is not allowed here. Then I got down from here and visited the Rameswaram temple and boarded the train from Rameswaram to Madurai.
